Designed for teenagers, this interactive and hands-on course will give learners a valuable knowledge base to enhance our human and natural ecosystems so they can become pioneers towards a more sustainable future. Students will gain experience and confidence about their own practical skills from growing, wilderness survival, herbal medicine, species identification and more. Every week, students will work in teams on do-it-yourself projects to take home. Activities will be held both on campus in the Vanier Gardens and off-campus, discovering the many sustainable initiatives in and around the city. Homework will be given in the form of a journal of observations. Students must enroll for a minimum of 2 weeks and have a strong level of English. Ages 14 to 17 years old
