530-202-VA, Video Production II
This second level course expands on the fundamental elements of video production learned in Video Production I. It aims to deepen the understanding of technical production (cinematography, editing, sound) while developing a critical perspective on the form and content of the work produced. Students will gain insight into the creative process through active participation and the analysis of their own work and the work of others. Each student will produce a final project, which they have crafted throughout the semester, demonstrating conceptual, aesthetic and theoretical awareness. The final video will become an important element in the portfolio of students applying to production programs.
