502-301-VA, Integrative Project
Integrative Project is a synthesis course that aims to integrate the skills and knowledge students have accumulated throughout the program. Students will be guided through the process of a creative project and self-reflection (which serves as the program comprehensive assessment) from inception to realization. This project encompasses a proposal process that involves a clearly formulated concept. Students will follow steps outlined in the work plan through to the presentation and critical reflection of the finalized work. Through lectures, critiques, and independent research, students will learn to articulate their ideas and observations about their work, analyze artistic practices and become familiar with contemporary notions of production.
