401-201-VA, Global Marketing
This is the third course in the International Business Majors Program. In this course, the student is again encouraged to further develop business terminology, this time more specific to Internet marketing and their research skills. The course places much more emphasis on readings than rote. The readings and text focus on the international challenges of marketing across borders and in foreign markets. Considerably more emphasis is placed on strategies used to enter foreign markets and on the more complex challenges inherent in foreign marketing than is stressed in our traditional marketing courses. Another unique feature of this marketing course is that it has an Internet classroom component so that the student can, as in the fundaments of business course, explore the conceptual topics we discussed in previous classes.
