This course will examine a number of world views surrounding immigration. The content includes: in-depth analyses of media representations depicting immigration, migrant narratives that express their plight and experiences in their own words, as well as some of the major debates and policies surrounding human movement. The aim of the course is to provide a wider and multi-faceted understanding of the different world views that surround local and global immigration.
