247-501-VA, Advanced Programming in Microprocessors
This course allows the student to master the basic instructions presented in the Assembly Language Programming Course and introduces advanced topics to complete the 8086 microprocessor instruction set. The student will acquire programming skills by writing application programs using ROM BIOS and PC Interrupts. The student will also be introduced to C++ programming language, the features that C++ shares with C, as well as where C++ differs from C. The laboratory component provides hands-on experience and reinforces theoretical concepts.
