520-933-VA, Photo II Advanced level course. Students in Photo II learn advanced camera and printing techniques and explore studio portraiture. They also receive an overview of the history of photography along with key theories and critical issues. Technical sessions to refine skills in shooting, film processing, and printing are combined with an analysis of the medium and an exploration of each student's own style of shooting. Students will investigate how photography is used in our society, as well as how they can use it to discover their own imagery. Student will also be introduced t new digital-imaging technologies in the Medi@Lab. Students supply their own film and photo paper.
