520-918-VA, Digital Photo 2 Advance level course. Students will further their knowledge of photography through learning advanced camera techniques with a Digital SLR cameras (provided by the College). Students will learn negative scanning, digital imaging procedures with Photoshop, and printing colour photographs using a high-resolution printer. Students will develop an advanced understanding of composition, design and content in photography. They will develop greater skills in shooting, digitally manipulating and printing colour images. Ultimately students learn how to prepare a basic digital portfolio and present their work. This course utilizes a Mac media lab as well as the Photography area facilities.
