VANIER GRADUATE IS NOW A TOP WRITER AND COMEDIAN

Vanier alumnus Jeff Rothpan has certainly hit the big time as far as being a comedian goes. Besides being a regular from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Hollywood Reporter singled him out as one of the new faces to watch after the Montreal International Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in 2000. The Los Angeles Times commented that Jeff's dry wit and style were reminiscent of a young Johnny Carson. Rothpan is quick to point out that unlike Carson, he is Jewish. He put out a hilarious show on "Comedy Now" entitled, "Whiter Than Hell" Check out a few quips from his show. (Warning, the humour is a little off-colour.) |
