LATEST NEWS: "Our
Popstar has British tabs stirred up" click for Gazette
article of Feb 9/03
Original
story from 2001: Nationally broadcast
television show "Popstars", which chronicled the six-month
search for the members of the new all-female pop vocal band,
Sugar Jones, announced the five final members. Among the
five was Vanier music student Mirella Dell'Aquila. Due
to the strict secrecy surrounding the project, Mirella has been
unable to speak about the auditions. Once the final announcement
was made, however, Mirella said that she wanted to let all of
her friends in the Vanier music department know that she's thinking
about them. Mirella was featured in a colour front page photo
in the Gazette.
Way
to go, Mirella! You've made Vanier proud!
