Chrysler Group's Ralph Gilles Wins 'Innovation Award' from NV Magazine

NEW YORK, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ralph Gilles, Chrysler Group Director - Truck Exterior/Interior Design Studio, was recently honored for his creative vision, leadership and community achievements at the third annual NV Awards. More than 500 guests celebrated the accomplishments of a new generation of urban professionals and entrepreneurs at the awards banquet, which took place at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel on July 29. Gilles, lead designer of the Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300 sedan (dubbed by many as the most influential American car of the 21st Century) was praised for his creativity and leadership of the Chrysler Group design team by the NV selection committee. NV Magazine also commended Gilles for sharing his passion for automobile design with students regularly, and for his desire to give back to the community and provide future generations with access to information about the automotive design and the industry. |

Gilles was one of 10 urban professionals and entrepreneurs who received the NV Award. The winners were acknowledged for the sacrifice, diligence, foresight, integrity, service, creativity, and assertiveness they exhibited in building successful businesses and careers. Other NV Award winners included Adrian E. Bracy, Vice President of Finance for the St. Louis Rams; "The Apprentice" runner-up Kwame Jackson of Legacy Holdings, LLC; and author and motivational speaker Farrah Gray.
