Mr. Normand W. Bernier, Director General of Vanier College, is pleased to announce that Lise M.Bégin has been named the college’s new Director of Administrative Services, Finance, Building and Maintenance and IT. She will begin her mandate in March 2015.
“I am very happy to welcome Lise to Vanier. Given her years of professional experience I am convinced she will prove to be a major asset to our college. The Director of Administrative Services, Finance, Building and Maintenance and IT is a very multifaceted, strategic position and is part of a larger plan to re-structure the way the college is managed with the ultimate goal of improving efficiency and collaboration between different departments,” said Mr. Bernier.
Lise M. Bégin holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales and is a registered chartered professional accountant (CPA CA). Prior to coming to Vanier she had been working, since 2011, as Senior Director of Finance and Administration at Marianopolis College and she also worked as Director of Administrative Services and Financial Services at College Laval.
“Merging Vanier’s Financial Services and Administrative Services, two critical departments at the college, represents a major challenge. I am therefore looking forward to ensuring a smooth transition while also establishing an action plan in order to improve efficiency and also working together to achieve the long and short-term goals of the College,” said Mrs. Bégin.
