Local & Provincial Competition
On March 25, Vanessa Torres, Julian Justino and Danick Arnaud (of team Vajuda) defeated fellow competitors in Vanier’s local Science, on tourne! 19th edition competition. Vanessa and Julian then made Danick proud by travelling to Ste. Foy, Quebec, from May 6-7, to compete with CEGEPs from all over Quebec at the provincial level. The challenge for this year was to build an autonomous vehicle that can make as many return trips as possible, on a given platform. Due to their ability to excel under pressure and work as a team, team Vajuda placed 17 out of the 41 high-caliber teams in this competition. Vanier College and the Math and Science Centre would like to congratulate team Vajuda for an excellent performance.
