The Mathematics & Science Centre aims to promote student success in mathematics and science.
The Centre is a large, interactive study space located on the top floor of the Vanier Library, F540. There can up be up to a hundred students in the Centre who use the space to do group study, to work on one of the 13 computer stations, to consult math and science textbooks, or to see tutors and teachers for help.
We offer a number of activities, services and resources based on the needs of the students:
Peer Tutoring Programs
Our peer tutoring service lends a helping hand to Vanier students in almost every program across the College. The tutoring programs help students with their understanding and application of course concepts
to increase the probability of their success. Ultimately, tutors help students develop strategies they need to become independent learners.
The Mathematics & Science Centre peer tutors are selected amongst Vanier's top science students. Click here to see this year's team of tutors.
