Dr. David Johnson

It was with profound sadness that the College learned of the sudden passing of Dr. David Johnson in Revelstoke, BC on March 18, 2012.

David served as our Academic Dean from 1993-2000. His long career at Vanier was highlighted with his helping to bring many changes in new pedagogy as well as the integration of information technology.

He retired in 2001 and moved to Revelstoke where he and his beloved wife Edna-Mae quickly became pillars of that community. His passing sparked several tribute articles in the local papers and they are hyperlinked below. You can also see some photos of him as well.
