It was with great sadness that Vanier College announced the death of long-time teacher Francis Greaney on January 19, 2010. Frank taught Humanities, Philosophy and Religious Studies at Vanier College from 1976 – 2000.
He was very active on Academic Council and countless other committees, and served as a Faculty Dean (then Sector Head) during his career at Vanier. We wish to particularly extend our condolences to his daughter, Marleigh Greaney, who works at the College as an I.T. Pedagogical Advisor through the Office of the Academic Dean.
Frank will be fondly remembered by friends and colleagues at both Vanier College and Thomas More Institute. His obituary is reproduced below. Here is a link to a fascinating and extensive interview with Frank Greaney courtesy of the Thomas More Institute.
