Tian Xing Zhang was in an elite group indeed as he was selected along with only 80 others from all of Canada to participate in this prestigious national competition. He was invited to compete as a result of his ranking 2nd in the province of Quebec at the Canadian Mathematical Society Open Challenge, which was held November 26, 2003. |
