Vanier AAA Cheetah Basketball star Dranadia Roc was honoured for this special award with an extensive article in the Gazette of January 29th as well as a spot on Global TV News on the same day. Dranadia has taken a lead role in the Lady Cheetahs success this season (they are currently ranked 10th nationally).

| This just in: May 26, 2004: Dranadia was among three newcomers named to the Canadian senior women's national team that will compete in a four-city exhibition tour against Japan, June 2004 in British Columbia. It's a huge honour as well as a rarity for someone so young to be selected for the national team. Way to go, Dranadia! |
