Vanier's AAA Basketball star Dilip Nayar was selected by The Montreal Gazette and Global TV as their Athlete of the Week for February 6th, 2002. Dilip, who was the subject of an article in the Gazette, comes in at an impressive 6-foot-8 and 240 pounds. He is leading the AAA Basketball Cheetahs to a highly successful regular season and is considered a "sure thing" when it comes to getting a basketball scholarship to a top U.S. school.
