CANADA MILLENIUM SCHOLARSHIP
AWARD WINNER ANNOUNCED

Caitlin Myles was awarded a scholarship from the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation. This award recognizes talented Canadians who make positive and significant contributions to their communities and who are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence. Throughout her four semesters at Vanier, Caitlin has contributed in a significant manner to the TLC, editing a book of student writing, amongst other projects. She took on a leadership role on the student newspaper last year.
In the Montreal community, Caitlin has consistently helped out at the Accueil Bonneau, working with the homeless. Caitlin has twice volunteered abroad, first in Costa Rica and then in the Dominican Republic. In both instances, she joined teams of women to work with children and adolescents. Caitlin has done all this while maintaining an average well over 90% in Science Plus. She will be studying Physics next year at McGill.
