LLOYD ELDER SCHOLARSHIP
AWARD WINNER ANNOUNCED

Matthew Kafenzakis, a second year student in the Commerce Honors program, is this year's winner of the Lloyd Elder Scholarship for excellence in mathematics and sport.
Matthew lives in Laval. He is a graduate of Collège Laval in Laval. Matthew has played outdoor soccer for fourteen seasons with the Centre-Sud club of Laval in both "AA" and Regional leagues. He played two seasons with his high school soccer team. Presently Matthew trains with the boxing club "ABC Boxe" at Centre Josée Faucher in Laval. Matthew has also played high school basketball and enjoys tennis, football, volleyball and swimming.
Matthew was on the Vanier Honours list last semester and on the First Class Honours list in A'01 and H'02. He plans to register in the Commerce program of either McGill or Concordia University this fall.
