VANIER STUDENT WINS NATIONAL AND
INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING TITLES

Jennifer Carroll is a Health Sciences student who has been a member of the Canadian National swim team since 2000. Her specialty is the backstroke, and she has set several Canadian record times in this event. She has also placed first or second in many international meets as well. She broke her Canadian and Commonwealth record at a meet in Paris on Jan 18, 2002. Read more on her remarkable accomplishments below.

Another Championship!

Jennifer won the Coupe du Québec on June 1, 2003 with first place showings in three separate events: butterfly, freestyle and of course backstroke, her premiere event.

POOL GOLD

Jennifer celebrates after winning the 50-metre backstroke January 18th, 2002 at the Paris International swimming short-course race in which she broke the Canadian and Commonwealth record for her event. She also won a silver medal in this summer's Commonwealth Games.
