Dr. Neil Caplan was officially awarded the Zipper Education Award 2004 on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the J.I. Segal Awards presented by the Jewish Public Library

Established in 1968, these prestigious awards honour and perpetuate the memory of the great Yiddish-Canadian poet, and foster heightened Jewish cultural creativity in Canada. This year, eight prizes on Jewish themes will be awarded. These awards are made possible by the J.I. Segal Foundation. They were founded by the late Dr. Hirsch Rosenfeld and by the late Mrs. Dora Rosenfeld.

The Award Ceremony was held at Gelber Conference Centre, 1 Cummings Square (5151 Cote Sainte Catherine).
