Paragraph 1

Construction of the International Space Station beganned on November 20, 1998. The Russian Proton, a spaceship, carryed “Zarya” into space. “Zarya” was design by Americans and built by Russians and it is an important part of the station. Since then, there has been many missions including astronauts from a variety of countries.

Paragraph 2

NASA predict that they will completing the station in April 2006. The station will bring together more than 16 countries that will cooperate to build the largest orbiting structure ever built.

Paragraph 3

NASA and the Russian Space Agency will sends 46 missions to the Space Station before it is complete. After they have finish building the station, it will weighs nearly half a million kilograms. As soon as the station is complete, a total of seven astronauts will be able to live in it for long periods of time.

Paragraph 4

After finding the Space Shuttle very useful for doing scientific experiments, countries all over the world decided that they are going to using the Space Station for many experiments.

Paragraph 5

For example, when the astronauts is in space, changes will occurs in their bodies because of the lack of gravity. Scientists will studying these changes to improves medicine on Earth.
