Visa
Information |
For
studies of 6 months or less you need the following to study at the Language School:
- A valid passport
- A Temporary Resident Visa (if
necessary.)
- A Certificate of Acceptance (C.A.Q.) is not required.
- A Study Permit is not required.
- Medical Insurance upon arrival
The procedure to apply to study here for less than six months is:
- Download the application form, fill it in, and send it to us by fax or by email: (514-744-7952 or languageschool@vaniercollege.qc.ca
- Along with the application form, send payment for a minimum of 5 weeks and a copy of your passport identification page.
- We will then send you your letter of acceptance which is useful if you require a Temporary Resident Visa.

NOTE: You
cannot obtain a Study Permit from within Canada. If you think you
may study in Canada for more than six months, you should consider
applying for a CAQ and Study Permit (see below) from your country
because these documents can be renewed in Canada. |

- We will then send you your letter of acceptance and the application forms for a Certificate
of Acceptance
- You must then apply for your Certificate of Acceptance. When you receive your CAQ, you may then apply for your study permit at the Canadian Embassy in your country.

Special Cases
- If you have a family member or a friend that lives here in Montreal, they may register on your behalf and even apply for a CAQ for you. Please invite them to contact us
- If you already have a Temporary Resident Visa or a Study Permit and are in Montreal, you may apply to study here right away.
