Many people have contributed to the success of this project:

JUDY MACDONALD
Coordinator, The Learning Centre, Vanier College

NEEDS ANALYSIS & CONCEPTION
The idea for this project originated with Judy. Judy determined that the first phase of the project would be devoted to the mastery of verb tenses, and that additional units could be added later, as needed. Based on this, she outlined the basic curriculum for the tutorial and identified key elements to be included in the design of the tutorial.

MARLEIGH GREANEY
Professional, The Learning Centre, Vanier College

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN
Based on Judy’s vision, Marleigh designed the structure for the online tutorial and managed the project from start to finish. She created the framework for each of the units, established guidelines for the development of all content and exercises, selected the software to be used for each phase of the development process and supervised the development team.

CAITLIN MYLES
DEC, Science Plus, Vanier College (2003)
Pursuing B.Sc. at McGill in Physics and International Developmen
t
JENNIFER SMITH
DEC, Science Plus, Vanier College (2003)
Pursuing B.Sc. at Concordia in Biology, Minor in Multidisciplinary Studies in Science

DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
Caitlin and Jennifer developed the material for the tutorial and then created the website. Over the course of a year, they devoted their energy and creativity to this project. They wrote almost all of the texts, created all of the exercises, designed the website and coded all the pages. Without their dedication, creativity, and excellent writing and technical skills, this project could not have developed as it did.

AMBER PHALEN
Consultant, The Learning Centre, Vanier College

GRAMMAR CONTENT
Amber developed the content for all of the “Rules” pages.

NORA PANG
DEC, Health Science, Vanier College (2004)
Pursuing combined B.Sc./B.Ed. at McGill in Mathematics and Education

ARTWORK
Nora created all of the artwork for the tutorial.

ELIOTT HAYUT
Pursuing B. Eng. at Concordia in Software Engineering

TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Eliott provided ongoing technical support for the development team.

Marilyn Caplan, Tim Geoghegan, Stephanie Kurdyla, Michael Lennane, Doug Miller, Caitlin Myles, Papu Nath, Nora Pang, Steven Reiter, Robert Sampson, Jennifer Smith and Nan Yang all contributed their vocal talents to the recording of the listening activities.

We would also like to thank Peter Ross (Academic Dean, Vanier College) and Fran Davis (Dean, Faculty of Science and General Studies, Vanier College) for their continued support of our project.

Finally, we would like to thank Fonds jeunesse Quebec for its generous financial support of this project throughout the 2003-2004 academic year.
