My name is Bertha Zapata Silva and I am from Peru. I came to Montreal because I was really interested in learning English. At the beginning, I thought it was a going to be hard for me to be part of a new society. But in time I felt the warmth and charisma of the people. I thank all the people at Vanier Language School for making it a pleasant experience.
When I finished studying English, I felt so happy because I saw that my effort for learning a new language was rewarded. I realized that if I was able to accomplish that, I was going to be successful in continuing my education in a second language. Now I am in my second year of Early Childhood Education Program.
I want to thank Alex Borja, Jennifer Joseph, Lilian Liganor, Andrew Gates and the entire Vanier International Education from the bottom of my heart for all the help and opportunities they have open for me. They have not only found ways to help me continue my studies, but also they support all other students who really want to be successful in life.
