Judy Macdonald visited two universities in India, Teerhanker Mahaveer University in Morabad, and Mangalayatan University in Aligarh with the goal of creating exchanges that would build a foundation between Vanier College and the mentioned Universities. Read more about the trip.

In October 2010, Vanier teachers, Marielle Beauchemin, Rhys Adams and Kevin Lenton traveled to
Monterrey, Mexico, to represent our College at the international SOMECE conference as part of a 2
year collaborative project with the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Read the report and see pictures from their travels.
2009 - Philippe Gagné & Sophie Jacmin
Congratulations to the French department's Philippe Gagné and Humanities department's Sophie Jacmin who were selected to take part in a collaborative two-year project involving Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Vanier College. This project will focus on the promotion and development of information technology in teaching and learning in the two institutions.
In October 2009, Philippe and Sophie (Read her report here: English / French) travelled with Marielle Beauchemin from Vanier's Micropublishing and Hypermedia department to Mexico City and shared their expertise in information technology as part of the 25th edition of the International Symposium on Information Technology in the Classroom.

Nursing faculty, Melodie Hicks and Michelina Catallozzi participated in a faculty mobility project funded by Cegep International and the Vanier College International Office. The two nursing teachers travelled to Malawi for two weeks this summer to share their expertise and learn about how nurses are educated in Malawi. An internship in rural Africa, by Kimberly Munro
Kimberly Munro has been enchanted by Africa since she was a little girl. After nine months in Ghana, she has learned that that no place in the world can teach you how to live, and how to love life, like Africa can. She has worked in Continuing Education at Vanier College since 2000 and is currently pursuing her masters in Community Health at l'Université de Montréal.
