International Education - Cegep Vanier College

The International Education Office will give $50 to selected Vanier College students of any faculty, forW their chance to invest in an entrepreneur in a resource-poor country. Students should go to the website: www.kiva.org where they can read about personal stories of women and men around the world who need small loans (between typically$100 to $500) to start up or continue their business. Since the sight has so much interest, individual sponsors, like you, can only donate $25 to each entrepreneur. All the student needs to do is create a profile on the site and he/she is on their way to donating directly to that specific entrepreneur across the world! Since the money you lend is a loan, there is over a 98% chance that you will get this money back in 6-9 months, at which point you may choose to reinvest in other entrepreneurs or cash it back!
