Collaborative Partnership Project with UNAM

Vanier College has been engaged in a two year partnership project with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) focused on the exchange of expertise about the use of Information Communications Technology in the classroom between teachers from the partner institutions. The International Education Office is looking for Vanier College teachers who integrate ICT into the classroom and are interested in collaborating, sharing and disseminating information acquired at the 2010 Sociedad Mexicana de Computación en la Educación (SOMECE) Symposium in Monterrey, Mexico from October 23rd to 28th. Vanier AIDS Action in Africa

This 2-year CIDA-sponsored initiative (April 2007 to 2009) aims to empower students to be aware of, and involved in, the developmental issues Canada supports and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Specifically, it focuses on the HIV/AIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa and its effect on women. |

Vanier Education for All

Vanier's second 2-year CIDA sponsored project (April 2009 - 2011) focuses on the need for universal primary education in sub-Saharan Africa with particular emphasis on the inaccessibility of education for girls. Students will comprehend the need to reinforce and offer sustained support for Canada’s role in attaining this MDG. |
