Information Evening

Vanier's Information Evening takes place on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for prospective students to tour our campus, speak with academic advisors concerning questions they may have and meet with our admissions staff for help with the application process. All programs and services will be represented in the Student Mall for easier access by our visitors. Please use the Bookstore entrance and feel free to stop by our Welcome table.

During our Information Evening we will offer information sessions titled Séance d’information: Anglais…sans problème aimed at students currently attending a French high school and thinking of applying to an English Cegep. The sessions will take place at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in room D-546 and will cover the following topics:

• Les cours préparatoires offerts par l’école de langues du Cégep Vanier.
• Les statistiques de réussite des étudiants francophones au Cégep Vanier.
• Les différences entre le test d’admission et le test de classement.
• Les niveaux d’anglais au Cégep.
• Les services offerts par les centres d’apprentissage.
• L’aide disponible pour les étudiants en sciences.
• Les activités d’accueils pour les étudiants de seconde langue.
