| The Industrial Electronics Technology program was completely updated in the Fall of 2008. This new program is based on a comprehensive set of competencies after intensive consultation with the industry. This new program places special emphasis on the installation and preventive maintenance, start up and project design of automated control systems and devices. |

| The diploma in Industrial Electronics is recognized by the industry as the training required to enter such fields as instrumentation, automation, robotics, electronic installation and start-up, medical electronics, flight and other simulators, process control systems, synchronization systems for the transportation systems, automated electronics, automated assembly line programming and maintenance, computer equipment, on-board navigational devices for aircraft and ships, communication technology, and more. |
