| Goals of the AEC Program: |
- To perfect professional competencies germane to the field of immigration consulting.
- To train students to become effective professionals, equipped, upon graduation, to practice in the immigration consulting field.
- To acquire skills, and to continue to develop skills, in: communications, problem solving, decision making, and professional ethics
- To integrate into the business milieu in general, and the immigration consulting field in particular.
- To enable professional mobility through the acquisition of strategies to handle change and new situations.
- To promote and expand professional skills by enabling students to develop autonomous practices, business sense, ability to learn, and work methods.

| Graduates of the Program receive an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC), authorized by the Minister of Education (MELS) and recognized by ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council), and are eligible to write the Professional Standards Test administered by ICCRC leading to official designation as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R.C.I.C). |
