Professional Experience
I have taught or conducted research at graduate and post-graduate levels at the following institutions: Panjab University (Pakistan), Teheran University (Iran), Dalhousie, McGill and Montreal Universities (Canada).
I have been teaching at Vanier College since 1976.
Professional Activities
Two major books and about a dozen articles. The books are Kipling’s Law (London, 1975) and Chronicles of the Raj (London, 1979). Both are published by Macmillan Press.
I have presented papers at a number of international conferences both here and abroad.
Commonwealth Fellowship, Molson Fellowship, Killam Fellowship, Canada Council grants for research.
Post colonial literature, Commonwealth Literature, Victorian and Romantic period.
