Admission Requirements

Since admission to Honours Science must be preceded by admission into Health Science or Pure & Applied Science, applicants must meet the science entry criteria. In addition, successful applicants to Honours Science will have over 80% in each of their Math and Science prerequisites and have an overall average of Secondary 4 and 5 of at least 80%. Furthermore, students must have a strong motivation in Science.

Application Timeline

Early March

  • First round applications to Health Science and Pure & Applied Science are received and processed by the college.
  • High achieving students are contacted and are invited to apply to Honours Science.
  • Students interested are welcomed to apply at any time and to contact the coordinator for any questions that they may have.

Early April

  • Deadline for applications through the regular Honours Science application procedure. Successful applicants are offered admission.

Late April

  • If space permits, students on the waiting list are offered admission.
