The Modern Languages Department holds a study trip to China 2012, from the end of May to the middle of June. During this 16-day trip, participants visit Beijing, the capital, Qufu, the birth place of Confucius, and Shanghai, the biggest city in China. Activities include visiting historical and cultural sites, observing and experiencing life in China and communicating with students from our partner university. Vanier participants experience the Chinese language, history, philosophy, arts, food and society in order to appreciate the differences between Eastern and Western Cultures.
