Andrée Cazabon | Documenting the Indigenous Experience

Andrée Cazabon is a Gemini nominated director. Her works have been featured at film festivals and shown to over a million viewers on television screens across the country, from the Vancouver Film Festival and the Hot Docs Film Festival to CBC Television and TVA. Andrée will speak about her engagement-based approach to filmmaking. Andrée firmly believes in being led by the collective vision and leadership of the people in her films. She will touch on her vast directorial experience as she enters her tenth year of commitment to reconciliation. She has not only co-created films with Indigenous communities, but also youth in government care and homeless shelters. Sponsored by the Vanier Indigenous Circle.
