Black History Month Guest Speaker: Dorothy Williams on

Tuesday, February 21, 2017
14:30 to 15:30

“Black history in Montréal” will be a timely review of the development of the Black community of Montréal. It will answer the questions as to where Blacks came from, how long they have been in Canada, and what has shaped this community's development in Montreal.  The story will begin in 17th century Montréal, and with time permitting, will continue up to the fervour of the 1960's ending with the Sir George Williams Affair in 1969.

Auditiorium, A103, 2:30-3:30pm
