Internships / Field Work

Students will participate in an onsite experience and students will practice applying the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in previous courses. Students are assigned to a centre and a group of children and throughout the semester the student will work closely with a co-operating educator and a faculty fieldwork supervisor.

Fieldwork I

  • Duration: 90 hours
  • Dates: August to December (1 day/week)

Fieldwork II

  • Duration: 180 hours
  • Dates: August - December (2 days/week) Or January - May (2 days/week)

Fieldwork III

  • Duration: 240 hours
  • Dates: March - May (4 days/week)
