Fine and Gross Motor Screening

At CPE Vanier we promote children’s physical development in a variety of ways.  On a daily basis, the educators of each class determine the needs of the children and their abilities then plan and provide the appropriate materials and activities to stimulate their development. When possible, we implement a screening program to evaluate the children’s fine and gross motor development. The program is been developed for the children between 2 and 5 years old. A recognized pediatric Physiotherapist and a pediatric Occupational therapist working within public and private sector conducts the screenings.

  2. If needed, develop individual intervention plans in collaboration with the parents of the child who has the significant fine and/or gross motor delays.
