Due to popular demand from industry and students needing computer programming skills, the Vanier College Centre for Continuing Education developed a Web and Database Programming Attestation. This attestation of 360 hours was designed for adults in the computer technology workforce who wish to upgrade their programming and Web design skills.
 
Goals of the Attestation
 
To enable students to upgrade their computer knowledge to meet the demands of the job market.

To assist students lacking a computer background to quickly integrate into the job market.

Also to train students to:
  • Write database applications by using evolving software.
  • Create Web applications that involve new computer technology.
  • Understand the object-oriented approach as a programming tool.

Prepare students to write applications by integrating databases with object-oriented and Web programming features.
