| This Early Childhood Education Attestation is a Continuing Education program designed for people interested in a career working with young children in a variety of childcare settings (daycare, pre-schools, extended day programs and home day cares). This competency-based Attestation is 1,200 hours in length and consists of 17 courses. Successful completion of the Attestation, combined with 3 years full-time work experience in a licensed childcare setting, will give the student the minimum requirements to work in the field, as per the regulations governing Child Care Centres in Québec. |

| Early Childhood Education Program's Objective |

| The objective of this program is to enable a person to develop the skills required of an Early Childhood Educator of children from 0 to 12 years in order to be considered as trained for work in various daycare environments. |
