| What are digital systems? |

| Digital has to do with anything that involves digital signals ( 1's and 0's). This can be seen in many products we take for granted: from the car you drive to the coffee maker which seems to be brewing before you get out of bed. |

| According to The Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists: |

In the world of technology, those who help to design devices and equipment, who decide exactly what equipment to use on a particular project, who figure out how to use it and who supervise its installation and use are generally known as technologists. |

The people who actually install, test, use and fix equipment and who become the hands-on experts with a specific piece of technology are known as technicians. |

| After graduation can I enter the job market and what type of jobs can I get? |

| After graduation students can get jobs as technologists or technicians.There is a high demand for graduates of this program in the computer related technology companies such as MATROX, IBM. |

| Is it possible to take just the core courses and take the other courses at a later date? |
| |
| Yes. It is possible but this will make your stay at Vanier longer by nearly a year or two years. |

| What would happen if I failed a core course? |
| |
| Since different courses are given in each semester, you will have to wait out a semester before you can repeat the course. |
