| The Building Systems Engineering Technology program gives students the expertise necessary to design heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R) systems in modern buildings.
Graduates are able to design and maintain those systems as well as the necessary control strategies,
in order to have healthy, comfortable environments in all types of buildings. Students apply theory
and principles of engineering to develop, operate and test the electrical, lighting, plumbing, and fire
protection systems along with the HVAC&R operations of any modern building. |

Job placement possibilities are excellent for graduates. Students have a variety of career choices in
manufacturing, contracting, building operations and in the design of commercial, institutional and
industrial building systems. |
