Research Methods in Biology (360-HTB-VA)

Research Methods is a  Science option course which offers you the opportunity to do real research in university labs.

Interested in scientific research?
Want to add to your academic resumé before heading to university?

  • Conduct REAL scientific research in labs at McGill, Concordia, or Université de Montréal!
  • Present your work at a symposium with other colleges!
  • Discuss current research and scientific papers with your peers and teachers!

A significant portion of the course hours for this class are dedicated to conducting research.

Outside of the lab, the course includes a review of the scientific method, discussion of scientific research and trends in biology, analysis of scientific papers, and presentations by invited speakers from universities and industry.
