Vanier College continued its tradition of treating the students to a springtime festival on the front lawn of the campus. Organized by the VCSA and featuring volunteers from VCSA groups such as the Animé Club and the Gamers Club, this year's Spring Fest was an unqualified hit. Activities included a Climbing Wall, Sumo Wrestling, Ironman Inflated Race Course and a Gladiators Jousting Ring. Participants could buy freshly made cotton candy and a delicious (and inexpensive!) barbecue lunch. As usual, music was provided by disk jockeys from CKVR. Scroll down to view photos taken at this year's festivities.
Cotton candy and hot dogs served as the main items on the lunch menu.
Students patiently waited their turns but they didn't wait long!
The turnover rate by the barbecue chefs was phenomenal.
Gladiator Joust participants try to knock their opponents off their pedestals.
Sumo Wrestlers (left) made the crowd laugh, while the brave at heart gave The Tower a try (right).
In the Ironman Inflated Race Course, participants dove
and climbed through a series of tunnels and slides.
Thanks again to the people from CKVR for another fine job providing music.
