VANIER HONOURS ITS RETIREES AND
20 YEAR SERVICE AWARD WINNERS

On February 16, 2002, Vanier College held its annual dinner to honour recent retirees as well as those employees who had completed twenty years of service to the college. The locale again was the beautiful Buffet Crystal on Henri Bourassa near Camille Laurin. After cocktails and supper, awards were presented, retirees were named individually and finally an evening of music and dancing rounded out the night's festivities. Our thanks go out to Hilda Schwartz and all the members of the organizing committee for their hard work. We have many photos of the night's festivities; too many to post on this one page. The MC organized several games. In this one, contestants had to make a ball on a
string go though a basketball hoop (strapped on to their waists) by hip power alone.


Needless to say, the resulting gyrations were hilarious to watch.

Next, people participating in a treasure hunt were sent throughout the room
in search of various obscure objects. The last one to return was eliminated.


And here's the winner: Huguette takes the prize (a bottle of champagne)
after she found the last item, a bra. (Don't ask. And no, it wasn't her own.)
