On April 20, 2001, Vanier College Athletics saluted their best at this year's annual Athletics Awards Banquet. Apart from individual MVP awards which were given for all sports, the prize of Athlete Of The Year was awarded to Kim Weir and Glen Bremner as the most outstanding male and female athletes for 2001.
