Science Orientation 2000

The annual Science Orientation was held on Sunday, March 26th. As in the past, swarms of eager and inquisitive science student applicants descended on the college with the purpose of finding out all they need to know regarding science facilities and courses here at Vanier. They were also informed of their options in non-science courses, as well as taken on tours of labs and other Vanier facilities such as The Learning Centre, L.I.T.C., Modern Languages Lab, Sports Complex, etc.

The event was kicked off in the Auditorium with a welcoming speech from Fran Davis, Dean of Science And General Studies. Afterwards, Chemistry professor Ariel Fenster gave his crowd-pleasing "Magic Of Chemistry" show. Our thanks go out to the organizers from the Dean's office, notably Frances Feehan and Claude Campbell. An especially big thank you goes to all the student volunteers. Without their help, an undertaking of this magnitude would not be possible. We now invite you to view some photos taken that day.
