TLC PRESENTS THE GREAT DEBATE '99

The Great Debate was held on Nov. 17/99 and it was a complete success! The topics addressed were:

1. Be it resolved that cloning be allowed amongst humans.
2. Be it resovled that the predictions to end the world should be taken seriously.
3. Be it resolved that the Pepsi Cola Company should have the sole monopoly rights within the College in exchange for a financial contribution.

An amusing time was had by all the audience as teams of students argued their points. In the end, the judges: Paul Hedlin, Marcia Goldberg, and Judy Macdonald chose the following as winners:

1st place: Harminder Kaur Singh
2nd place: Lenny Karp-Friedman
3rd place: Kyle Gervais
